BMW Dog Basket

For April Fool’s 2017, BMW wanted to create a joke advert for their model  D – Drive dog basket. We were supplied with a toy BMW i8 car which had to be modified, inside and out.

The wheels were removed with paneling filling the holes and neat rubber trim hiding the joins. A control dial and modified fan were inset into the dashboard, with edges finished to a crisp and clean standard.

The interior cushions were all scratch built, upholstered with faux-leather and coloured thread that matched the interior of the real car.
