Burberry Trench Factory

The client wanted to bring industrial elements of their factories into stores, as part of an installation celebrating the classic Burberry trench coat. Over the course of 6 months, this set-up was modified for use in a number of stores around London.
Initial concepts were provided to us for development into structures that could be fabricated out of standardised materials. The main framework represented the bobbin machines that weave the iconic fabrics. As well as these walls, hanging fittings were designed for attaching the mannequins.
The 3 tables used the same materials and represented tailoring work stations. The main unit had a draw for the variety of branded buttons customers could choose from and also featured a bespoke magnifying glass and lamp.
