Burberry Cape Reimagined

Client

Burberry

Asylum Supervisor

Mark Ward

We were required to create a strong, stable, but minimal industrial framework for Burberry to display their reimagined capes, inspired by Henry Moore’s semi- abstract sculptures.

We initially planned the frame in CAD using standard sized steel box section, with bespoke slot fittings. The materials were then cut, rolled and welded to form a modular framework for easy transportation and assembly on location. Hanging perspex frames were also fabricated with minimalist fittings, to display text and images of Moore’s inspirational sculptures.

To finish the display, we were required to produce pleated tulle curtains to half-block out the surrounding environment, to make the couture pieces stand out.
