Money Saving Expert Finding Your Answers

For Money Saving Expert’s new Oxford Street headquarters, we built a 3-meter wide art installation, composed of lettered tiles arranged into a word search.

Containing over thirty of the company’s mottos and statements, the concept stems from the information website’s editorial nature and its commitment to finding answers for their customers.

Once the design was finalised, we calculated the number of tiles needed and overall configuration. A total of 2075 wood blocks were produced, each one sanded and painted by hand. After that, rub-downs of the letters and score numbers were carefully transferred to each one of the blocks and sealed with lacquer for durability. All of this was mounted onto a steel sheet backing board and one-by-one the blocks were screwed in place.
