Tableau Train Puzzle

Asylum was approached to fabricate a rotating puzzle mosaic for software company Tableau’s office space.

We initially designed the rotational mechanism using CAD to make sure there was enough clearance when two adjacent pieces rotated at the same time. We then proceeded to prototype a small section for client approval.

A magnetic snap system was built into the puzzle so no facet could be left, half turned.
