Woolmark – The Meaning Behind the Mark

The Woolmark Certification Program tests and provides assurance of the quality of wool apparel, wool yarn, fabric, wool care products and wool interiors and floor coverings.

We were tasked with producing a number of rigs, mounted on drive mechanisms, which depict the rigorous testing processes that Woolmark put products through. Using machined aluminium and careful hand finishing, we produced clean aesthetic frames, moving with motorised precision. These were linked to motion controlled camera moves for lining up footage in post production.

The washing machine rig was created using a perspex tank and water proof drive mechanism.
