Louis Vuitton Ostriches

Following the success of the Giraffe, Asylum were commissioned by Louis Vuitton to produce full size Ostriches and large scale eggs for the Autumn /Winter Windows of the New Bond Street Maison Store.

The Ostriches had sculpted heads and necks that could be seen flowing through walls and floors. The beaks were open with attachments to allow for high-end merchandise to be displayed.

The ostriches were hand feathered, and stood on sculpted gold plated legs.

We produced a selection of different sized eggs ranging from oversized displaying footwear, and real size eggs that were carefully fractured by hand and showcased the brands watches that appeared to have hatched.

Due to the overwhelming success, we created duplicate schemes for the New York and Hong Kong stores.
