The concept behind this interactive game was for people to pit their wits against Cisco’s developed AI software. The challenge was to race a team of three radio controlled cars in convoy and beat the computer to the finish line.

Three maps made the whole gaming platform, where two opposing teams navigated around a stylised concrete cityscape. During game play, one of a series of bollards would raise from the board, blocking the path, so the players would have to reassess their route.

The AI’s progress was depicted on an LED map. Our electrical engineers¬†built an Art-net based controller to display¬†programmed¬†animations on it, relating to a variety of relevant information to the game. This included blocker positions, starting traffic lights, and paths through the course.
