Craig Green collaborated with photographer Dan Tobin Smith to create the campaign of his 2018 Autumn Winter collection, bringing forth images of colourful windmills made of wood and latex, engulfed in powdery explosions.

To construct the windmill, Asylum first produced CAD of the tower scaffold to calculate the position of various components. We then designed a bespoke hub, shaft, spokes and sails in the required dimensions to form a base structure, which could then be dressed up for the photoshoot.

The entire set was constructed on location, by a cliff in Dorset, and shot over the course of four days. For the explosions, Asylum provided air cannons loaded with tinted Bentonite powder.
