Vauxhall Split

Asylum created the split car effect in Vauxhall’s quirky advert.

We took a Vauxhall Meriva and cut it through the centre. It then had to be rewired, have a fuel tank added to the front end and fitted an electric drive system in the rear. This was operated by radio control, as it drove along. Care had to be taken when operating the breaks in the front end that was now somewhat over powered.
