Selfridge’s Tory Burch Windows

Asylum fabricated the cascading sand sculpture for Selfridges’, as a part of their Tory Burch Spring/Summer pop-up shop window display.

We tested several methods of setting the sand in a solid state, as it needed to have a natural and loose texture. After receiving approval from the designers at Seen Displays, we machined the base out of polystyrene, then painted and textured the whole structure by hand for a seamless finish.
