Asylum created some of the death scenes in this movie, involving models, prosthetics and atmospherics.
A replica of Christian Slater was made to fall apart when he gets frozen, and part of that shot involved a rig that would allow Christian to fall and snap the false legs as he went.
We also made the prosthetics for the acid cigarette effects. Various stages of the dissolving face were sculpted and then cast in foam latex.
An over size gun and an oversized pair of hands were made to allow close up shots of the exploding firearm that results in the death of one of the characters.
