McDonald’s ABC Farm

Asylum created numerous models and effects for this hearty advert.

Along with a series of bespoke moving toys, we built a number of oversized structures, the largest being a 4 metre tall party popper. The streamer effects, when popped, were filmed at a smaller scale and achieved by using our compressed air cannons.

Along with the steel ‘A’ frame to hold a collection of apple crates together, a 2 metre tall flip board rig was built. Motors drove the rotational movement and the whole rig had to be buried underground to hide it during filming.
