Louis Vuitton Snails and Birds

Louis Vuitton wanted to populate the windows of their newly refurbished Paris store with a collection of golden snails and various exotic birds.

The snails would need to come in various sizes, so we sculpted a large version and digitized it for scaling and manipulating into different poses. 

The birds were all hand sculpted, moulded and then additioned in silicon, ready for art-working and feathering. We wanted the poses to be adjustable so a wire armature was built inside for easy manipulation.
