Burberry underwent a major rebranding in 2018. Their Regent Street flagship store was refurbished with a new look which honoured the building’s history as a theatre. Over 4 miles of drapes fringe the interior.

Asylum designed, built and installed the more complex support structures. After taking extensive measurements of the store, entire areas of the interior were drawn up in CAD to determine the positioning of various stands and trusses. Box steel and poles were then cut and bent accordingly to cover sections for draping.

The structures were slim, efficient and entirely concealable behind the draperies. They were also designed and built with public safety in-mind, using custom fasteners and fitted pieces to securely install the scaffoldings throughout the whole store.
