In 2005, Disney and Stage Entertainment produced a new version of the famous musical stage show using brand new sets and costumes. Asylum was approached to fabricate a large majority of the complex, hard bodied costumes.

Our soft furnishing and costume department took responsibility for key characters, such as Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth and Madame de la Grande Bouche (wardrobe). We also developed a gas powered, flame hand rig for Lumiere.

Many of the supporting characters had items of clothing made by us, such as the giant dinner plates with back support rigs, cutlery head gear and foam cast flourishes that were finished in gold leaf.
