Attack the Block Meteor

Asylum fashioned the extraterrestrial prop piece for the cult film ‘Attack on the Block’.

We produced a 3d printed model of the alien creature to confirm the desired pose with our client. The large meteorite was then digitally modelled and split into halves, revealing the imprint of the alien inside. Using CNC, we carved the shape in high-density polystyrene and laminated it in fibre-glass, using paint finishes to produce the variation in texture found on the outer and inner surface.
